Factory Reconditioned Karcher G 3025 BHR 3,000 PSI 2.5 GPM 187cc Honda GC190 Gas Powered Pressure Washer Review

Factory Reconditioned Karcher G 3025 BHR 3,000 PSI 2.5 GPM 187cc Honda GC190 Gas Powered Pressure WasherI like to do a lot of research before I purchase items like this, and I found that Karcher is one of the best brands for pressure washers out there.Spotted this unit on clearance at one of the local wholesale clubs and quickly bought it.I've since cleaned my tractor, cars, patio and concrete porch with it.Haven't had a chance to clean the house yet, but will give that a shot next spring. When I used it on my porch and patio, this washer worked great with no detergent necessary.Tried it on my tractor and it worked great there as well. When it came to the cars, I'd give it "B".You definitely need a brush attachment or you're just spraying water and soap, but even with the brush, you're not going get your rims super clean or all of those bug stains off.

I would definitely buy this washer again, but here is my wish list if I can change some things.First, it would be nice if there was a drain plug for the onboard soap dispenser. There's no good way to empty it now other than use it all up.Second, the hose needs to be another 5-10' longer to get around a full size vehicle without having to move the washer.I know a 25' hose is standard for all washers so this is not a criticism against Karcher. Finally, the pressure for the soap sprayer seems pretty weak and am concerned that I won't actually be able to use it on my two story house next year.

Having said that, I'm still happy with my purchase. The Honda motor starts with one pull all the time...hot or cold. The brass pump is top notch, and the quick connects are great.

McCulloch FHH25A 2500 PSI Gas Pressure Washer Review

McCulloch FHH25A 2500 PSI Gas Pressure WasherI purchased this because I liked the way it looked.

I've had 3 other pressure washers and thought the all enclosed unit would be easier to store so I "one clicked" bought it. The collapsible handle seemed like a nice feature too.

When I received it it looked great.
I read the manual, filled it with gas & oil and pulled the starter corda couple of times.

The handle was in the up position because I wheeled it out to the driveway.

As the gas percolated through the system on about the seventh pull the engine apparently misfired and locked the recoil rope so that I pulled the unit toward me with great force and the extended handle caught me right in the mouth.

Split lip and loose tooth.

Stay away from this puppy.I've had enough experience to know that this is a real piece of garbage.

All Power America APW5102 3,000 psi 6.5 HP OHV Gas-Powered Pressure Washer Review

All Power America APW5102 3,000 psi 6.5 HP OHV Gas-Powered Pressure WasherWasher is well made and easy to assemble. Started easily the first time. Worked well for about 2 hours then pressure started to fluctuate and it cut out. I thought it might have over heated. So I stopped for the day and returned the next day, checking both oil and gas before starting. The pressure seemed low and after about 30 minutes the pressure was nil. The trouble shooting guide suggests a number of fixes including cleaning the by pass valve. I don't feel I should have do get into maintenance issues on a product that is brand new with less than 3 hours of use on it. My final judgment on this washer is pending but as of this writing I am not satisfied with the reliability of this product.

Power Boss 020309 3,000 psi 2.5 Gallon-Per-Minute Honda GC190 Gas-Powered Pressure Washer Review

Power Boss 020309 3,000 psi 2.5 Gallon-Per-Minute Honda GC190 Gas-Powered Pressure WasherThis is my second Briggs & Stratton power washer. The first one died an untimely death, but I blame myself for not draining all the water out before a winter freeze.

Anyway, when I decided to replace it I knew I needed more power (who doesn't?), so I looked seriously at 3,000 psi units. Here's what I liked about the Briggs Power Boss:

1)Honda engine.Kind of strange that Briggs would put a Honda engine on one of their products, but I think Honda makes some of the best small gasoline powered engines. It starts right up and runs great.
2)The sealed pump that requires no maintenance.Considering how much homeowners actually use their pressure washers, I doubt that many (or any) were changing the pump oil as recommended. This eliminates that hassle.
3)The large gas tank lets you run the unit until you're probably thankful that it finally ran out of gas.
4)Pneumatic wheels make the unit easy to move around.
5)Quick-connect sprayer tips.
6)On-board detergent tank.My old p/w just had a suction tube, so if you wanted to move the unit you had to be careful not to knock over the detergent bottle and spill it.

In a perfect world, the pump would be made of solid brass, but that would entail a major cost increase.I would also prefer a longer (maybe 50') hose, but maybe that's the laws of physics kicking in -- it may not be practical on a 3,000 psi unit.

Overall operation is simple, and the unit does pretty much everything I could reasonably expect it to.Anything more and I should get myself a true commercial model, but that's a big jump in price.

I can highly recommend this unit.
